Job Description
As a GHRN Quality Evaluator, your primary responsibility is to ensure consistency in estimating practices across GHRN and Total Loss. You will conduct physical and/or virtual re-inspections and analyze complex estimates prepared for Allstate.

In this role, you will assess coverage, liability, and damages while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the day. Communication with customers and repair shops will take place through various channels, including phone calls, email, text messages, and in-person visits. Using innovative platforms and tools, you will engage in negotiation processes to ensure accurate estimates and quality file handling.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to ensure accuracy in estimates and maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recommending repairs and estimate/methodology corrections.
  • Reporting on reinspection results to ensure vendors and technicians comply with Allstate's guidelines and procedures.
  • Consulting with leadership regarding inspection or file review results.
  • Assisting the Claims organization with calibration activities.

A Day in the Life:

  • The Customer Service Expert - You'll embody Allstate's Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring. You'll achieve this by being compassionate, clear, and a committed partner in each auto damage claim. You lead with empathy-always.
  • The Investigator - You'll confidently and independently investigate auto property damage claims by performing detailed damage reviews. You'll also provide reinspection results to ensure vendors and technicians comply with Allstate's specific guidelines and procedures.
  • The Effective Communicator - You'll use phone, email, and video chat to assist shops through a fast, fair, and seamless claims and repair process. You'll research and respond to complex shop concerns, conflicts, or issues while developing and maintaining strong vendor partnerships through effective communication.
  • The Negotiator - In alignment with legal and business standards, you'll evaluate and negotiate claims and repair processes with vendor shops. You'll apply strategic negotiation tactics to manage challenging and complex situations.
  • The Problem Solver - Your sharp critical thinking skills will help you navigate a fast-paced environment while utilizing multiple tools, including estimating platforms, analysis reports, and standard processes. You'll also use your communication skills to coach others on industry standards, company best practices, and continuous improvement.

Notice of Licensing Requirement

  • As a condition of employment, you may be expected to obtain an adjuster's license in multiple markets.
  • All required licenses will need to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • You must maintain all licensing required for your role. This includes any continuing education and/or other state-affiliated requirements for licensing renewal.
  • This role offers a $1,000 sign on bonus if you have an active appraiser license or active adjuster license in TX, FL, or your resident state.
  • Current employees and former employees seeking rehire at Allstate or its affiliated companies are not eligible for this sign-on bonus.

Work Location

  • This is a remote, home-based position. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but you must reside in the United States.
  • This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, or Hawaii.
  • Due to physical reinspections, up to 20% travel may be required.

When Working from Home Full-Time You'll Need:

  • A dedicated workspace in your home that is private and free from distractions.
  • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down / 5 MB up.
  • An appropriate work surface and seating for a professional home office setup.

When Traveling for Reinspections:

  • You may be required to use your personal vehicle unless you qualify for a company vehicle.
  • Mileage reimbursement is provided for personal vehicle use during work-related travel.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in estimating auto damage using the CCCOne platform, with a strong background in auto damage analysis (required).
  • Prior experience writing estimates for an insurance-preferred shop or working as an auto damage adjuster (preferred).

Functional Skills:

  • Communication Skills - Strong verbal communication, especially over the phone, to build rapport and accurately assess claims.
  • Independent & Remote Work - Ability to work autonomously while managing time efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Insurance Knowledge - Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and repair processes.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving - Strong analytical skills to evaluate and negotiate auto property damage claims effectively.
  • Tech & Tools Proficiency - Experience using innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $59,800.00 - 105,910.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
