This role is a 12Month Contract
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst professional to join our team! Reporting to the Senior Manager, Rate Plan Development, you will be responsible to:
Accountabilities:
- Assist with modeling work of new rating plans
- Interpret modeling results to identify gaps and rating plan enhancements
- Design and implementation of new rating plans
- Assist with filing preparation and coordinate communications with regulators
- Collaborate with IT business partners to conceptualize and craft a rating plan framework for the organization
- Analyze and quantify strategic benefits of the enhanced rating sophistication
Qualifications:
- In the process of or completed writing Actuarial Exams.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting recommendations to various audiences.
- Sound business acumen and comfortable using judgement to make assumptions in the absence of black and white data.
- Prioritization skills, ability to juggle multiple projects on the go and differentiate between large and small impact items.
- Minimum 1-year Actuarial Experience (P&C pricing experience is an asset)
- Completion of CAS Exams 5 and 8 an asset
