HII-TSD is currently seeking a Technical Training Specialist to support the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. The successful candidate will work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they will be expected to work on-site in the San Antonio, TX office when the government agency determines it's safe to return to the office.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver technical training program using accepted teaching methodologies.
- Deliver high-quality training using tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Teams, Blackboard, and other e-learning products.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Microsoft 365 concepts, applications, and best practices to other teams, program offices, and courts.
- Design technical training assessments and learning activities to assess knowledge transfer.
- Modify training materials from vendor and adapt it to client-specific training.
- Maintain and edit project documentation, manuals, and job aids using a set of established vetted guidelines.
- Produce professional-quality work within tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
- Write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts for e-learning content.
- Partner with other subject matter experts to obtain information, validate content, and evaluate the effectiveness of course delivery.
- Collaborate with a creative, synergetic team.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field
- Experience training adult learners and awareness of adult learning principles
- Proven experience developing and delivering e-learning content
- Proven experience writing lesson plans and curriculum for both live and self-paced courses
- Competency in instructional design and instructional technology
- Experience working with subject matter experts and identifying a target audience's training needs
- Experience in conducting live training using Microsoft Teams or other video-conferencing tools
- Ability to work and interact with others in a structured/team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during the course of work
- Excellent organizational, time management, editing, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle competing work demands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging priorities
- Self-motivator and self-starter
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
Preferred Requirements
- Client requirements: Bachelor's degree with 9 years of general experience and 6 years of specialized experience
- Experience with one or more of the following applications:
- Microsoft Outlook, OneNote, Planner, Stream, Lists, Forms
- Microsoft SharePoint Online
- Microsoft PowerAutomate and PowerApps
- Camtasia
- Blackboard
- Competency in Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
