Job Description
Who We Are:

Technical Solutions Division (TSD), is currently seeking someone to provide personnel, supervision, and other services necessary to conduct personnel security, physical security, and information security with duties to provide services in the management of the 353 SOW's sensitive compartmented information (SCI) facilities, cleared personnel in accordance with pertinent directives, to support operations for AFSOC facilities at Kadena AB, Japan.

What You Will Do:
  • Initiate and process requests for access to SCI for 353 SOW personnel.
  • Prepare and review reports concerning adverse information affecting access to classified information.
  • Monitor, review, and initiate investigations concerning security violations, including recommendations for the withdrawal of an individual's access or the accreditation of a facility or network/system.
  • Maintain files and records pertinent to SCI access
  • Interpret and prepare internal operating instructions and/or operating procedures for classification management and safeguarding requirements.
  • Establish local procedures for the development of classification guidance; document marking; safeguarding and use; personnel access controls; need-to-know criteria; and the physical storage and control, transmitting, transferring, reproduction, downgrading, and destruction of information
  • Recommend solutions to resolve classification and declassification problems.
  • Generate concept validation, preconstruction, and SCI facility (SCIF) accreditation packages, which includes permanent, tactical (TSCIFs), semi-permanent, and temporary secure working areas.
  • Educate users on the security requirements identified within AFSOC Information Systems Security Concept of Operations and ensuring these requirements are appropriately applied and enforced
  • Ensure information systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of IAW AFSOC security policies and coordinate any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of information systems with the AFSOC Chief Information Security Officer.
  • Provide SCI training and support for 353 SOW units


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with all facets of Microsoft Office predominantly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Personal driver's license.
  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Valid Passport
  • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Accordingly, as a condition of employment with Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption prior to starting employment.

  • Should have an in-depth knowledge of Air Force and Special Ops Forces organizational structures, functions and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities.
