Who we are

HII Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst to support our customer located in Ramstein, Germany.

This position will identify potential Force Protection (FP) threats, Cyber threats, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) threats, and Information Operations (IO) campaigns that can affect deployed airman or equipment. They will work as part of a US Air Force team and will be expected to have in-depth technical subject matter expertise in relation to tactical communications as well as having significant insight into U.S. government operations and U.S./NATO warfighting capabilities.

  • Prepare mission commanders and deployable teams for the various threats that affect tactical communications and tactical communications personnel. This includes but is not limited to Cyber threats, EMSO threats, Force Protection threats, and Information Operations (IO).
  • Provide recent and relevant all-source intelligence support, products, and briefings to commanders and their staff with a focus on Cyber, EMSO, and Force Protection.
  • Conduct research and mission planning in support of deploying tactical communications teams. This includes assessing and providing instruction on offensive and defensive weapons system capabilities, establishing collection/reporting requirements, advising on recognition techniques, and otherwise preparing teams for operations in permissive and non-permissive environments.
  • As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) produce and present summary reports to various levels of leadership within the Department of Defense. This includes but is not limited to informing leaders on operations and exercises throughout EUCOM, CENTCOM, and AFRICOM.
  • Provide support to theater operations by researching and analyzing time-sensitive intelligence reports in accordance with the established guidelines for Network Cyber Warfare operations.
  • Plan quarterly cyber exercises for the USAF 1st Tactical Communications Mission Defense Team.
  • Respond to real-world events through direct coordinating with senior intelligence leadership. Provide strategic, operational, and tactical information on 60+ missions each year.
  • Maintain and update Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) in support of 3 separate squadrons with separate missions. Ensure PIRs are up to date and in accordance with command guidance and objectives.
  • Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) that fill intelligence gaps for deployed/deploying tactical communications units, especially as it pertains to contested environments.


What you must bring with you

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in the intelligence field with proven ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience specifically addressing threats to tactical communications.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering professional products and reports.
  • Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS clearance with SCI eligibility.


Bonus Points For

  • Technical knowledge of Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, capabilities, and vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to write, communicate, and present to all levels of DoD leadership.
  • Experience with Information Operations (IO) and/or targeting.
  • 2 Years' experience in Campaign Plan Assessments.
  • Experience as a Joint or USAF planner.
  • Previous experience briefing senior leadership at the General Officer, Flag Officer, or Senior Executive Service level.


Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
