Job Description

Summary

HII - Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) to support the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. The successful candidate will lead technical projects related to Active Directory (AD) and Directory Services and support the AD infrastructure. This role will work with the Federal Courts across the United States to migrate their local active directory environment to a National Active Directory environment. The objective is to complete 108 migrations within the next 12 months.

This position is eligible for full time 100% remote work.

• Collaborate with multiple technology and service providers for implementation and operational services as well as with application development teams for authentication/directory services application integration.

• Oversee the application of project management practices and principles to the objective of development, maintenance, and updating of project management and tracking capabilities.
• Apply project management practices and principles to define, document, manage, and report the scope and progress of work captured in projects.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize project information into presentational format appropriate to presentations to stakeholders at all agency levels.
• Develop working relationships with a wide range of information sources to gather and analyze complex organizational data to develop compelling dashboards, reports, and tools that communicate useful and actionable information regarding projects.
• Lead and/or support the launch and operation of temporary and permanent working groups and governing bodies by rallying the coordination stakeholders, producing documentation, and facilitating meeting and supporting operations.
• Oversee any relevant Project Management tools; Understand and solve (or assist executive leadership in solving) complex organizational problems that often mix technical and operational challenges.
• Enhance internal team collaboration and communication through the development and administration of team collaboration tools in SharePoint.

What you must have

• 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field.

• Mastery of the principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources.

• Experience in leading projects through the project lifecycle (e.g. initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closure).
• Ability to oversee a large collection of portfolios, programs, projects and operations to achieve strategic objectives.
• Experience working in multi-stakeholder, technical, and matrixed organizational environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Bonus points for

• Client Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with 15 years' experience or Master's Degree with 12 years' experience, preferably in Communications or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Experience with both traditional and agile software development methodologies.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Project Online and Project Web Access.
• Experience utilizing JIRA.
