Job Description
Huntington Ingalls Industies - Technical Solutions Division is in search of a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support the day to day operationsof the USAF Weapons School, Nellis AFB NV. Duties and responsibilities will be under the direct supervision of the USAF Weapons School, Lead CPSO. Duties include the development of unit level program requirements identical to established standard operating procedures provided by the U.S. AF Weapons School Lead CPSO. Candidates will plan, organize and direct activities of the collateral security program at the Squadron or Wing Level. Review, analyze and resolve difficult and complex problems related to secure systems, policies and procedures for unit vaults and work areas. Candidates will, with government supervisor approval, establish policies and procedures for accomplishment of special access functions. Cadidates are expected to evaluate compliance of vault/SCIF activities with security requirements, identify deficiencies and analyze major problems and mission vulnerabilities. Additionally, candidates are expected to manage the personnel security program for the unit.

Required skills and capabilities:
- Strong working knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System
- 3 Years experience working in USAF environment as active duty, guard, reserve, civilian or in a contractor position
- Strong working knowledge of industrial security program
- Strong working knowledge of SCIF operations
- Strong working knowledge of access control
- Strong working knowledge of personnel security requirements
Desired skills and capabilities:
- Bachelors Degree
- Previous PKI access and utilization of JPAS
- 2 Years active duty, reserve or guard service
- Experience in secure, controlled environments with an understanding of access control
