Job Description
We are seeking to fill an important role for a Pricing Analyst, Principal at our Fair Lakes, VA location. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of proposal process and pricing within the DoD and related market segments, with attention to detail and awareness of current market dynamics. Excellent opportunity for a self-starter that can perform with minimal direction and/or oversight.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leads the preparation of a fully compliant and competitive cost model, coordinate pricing review meetings; and cost/price model development.
Work closely with capture and proposal teams, program staff and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure that all labor and non-labor BOEs are captured, compliant and competitive.

Develop pricing and financial strategies to improve overall probability of win.
Reads, comprehends and explains RFPs and prepares clarifying questions related to pricing.
Participate in cost proposal peer-review process and ensure quality control prior to submission to the government.
Develops subcontractor pricing requirements and data calls in coordination with subcontract team.
Performs advanced analysis, modeling and what-if analysis for management decision making.
Hands-on role in developing and maintaining pricing models and other relevant tools.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Operations, or Business Administration plus 12-15 years of experience in pricing and cost estimating or Master's degree and 10-13 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong understanding of FAR, DFAR, DCAA, TINA, and CAS, with regards to cost proposal preparation, review, submission and negotiation.
Strong knowledge of all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel; Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
Attentive to detail, highly organized, maintains complete and orderly files to ensure an audit-ready posture.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines, and respond to urgent requirements.
