Who We Are:

HII-Technical Solutions Division is seeking a motivated, Operations Training professional to join our team of exceptionally dedicated professionals in an exciting, fast-paced, highly successful company. You will work in a collaborative team environment consisting of combined aircrew scheduling and training functions at the squadron level to augment Pacific Air Force (PACAF) aircrew. The focus of work is to support non-flying duties in flying squadrons that traditionally utilized aircrew members to fill as additional duties.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate with the training officer, SARM, UDM, DO to arrange a schedule to facilitate operations, qualification, upgrade, test, exercises, and continuation training accomplishment to meet required currency and progression standards IAW DO priorities.
• Coordinate with the Weapons Officer or DO for aircraft configurations two weeks prior and ensure Ops/MX/Ammo schedules are synchronized.
• Build long- and short-range shift schedules. Keep track when crewmembers will be on leave, temporary duty, have scheduled medical appointments or other scheduling commitments.
• De-conflict aircrew schedules and work with flight leadership to ensure crews are available to fly.
• Track daily flight/ground/academic training requirements to facilitate accurate flight scheduling.
• Facilitate last-minute schedule changes.
• Coordinate with maintenance and schedule crewmembers as required.
• Publish/post scheduling data for unit long-/short-range ground/academic, flying, and simulator training event schedules on PEX/GTIMS/GDSS II, or other computer database systems.
• Determine flight, ground, and simulator schedule requirements for upgrade, initial qualification, re-qualification, transition, currency, and continuation training based on syllabus requirements, student progression, weather, and daily equipment/training range availability.
• Coordinate with OSS, outside agencies/exercise participants and higher headquarters.
• Attend all necessary weekly/monthly planning meetings or conferences.
• Coordinate DIP Clearances, ALTRVs, and any other procedure required for flying operations.
• Assist the DO in building the unit Annual Flying Hour Program.
• Produce and disseminate scheduling effectiveness reports (weekly wrap-up) IAW local standards.
• Update PEX/GTIMS or locally-developed computer database systems as required.
• Interface with HARM personnel to update the ARMS or future equivalent systems
• Review and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per AFI 11-202V1 and AFI 11-2MDS-V1, associated MAJCOM supplements, and locally-developed guidance.
• Administer classes and exams as required.
• Coordinate with scheduling to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for CRM, Instructor CRM, IRC, and any other grounding or pre-deployment training requirements.
• Perform periodic gradebook checks of personnel training and ancillary training requirements.
• Prepare and execute periodic training/testing plans for approval and scheduling.
• Provide weekly updates to squadron leadership on readiness status of personnel
• Coordinate with scheduling officer to maximize training opportunities IAW unit leadership guidance.
• Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for unit leadership.
• Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Report all MAJCOM training requirements IAW MAJCOM and local guidance.
• Assist in maintaining unit "first fly" and "incentive/familiarization flight" checklists.
• Assist the Chief of Training with mid-year and end-of-year Readiness Reviews.
• Generate AF Form 4324, Letter of Xs, RAP reports, summary of probation/regression status and grade book discrepancy reports as required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a DoD Squadron/Group/Wing Training, Scheduling, or Stan Eval office.
  • Clearance: Must have an active DoD Secret level security clearance
  • A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience working in a flying Squadron/Group/Wing Training, Scheduling, or Stan Eval office is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with PEX/GTIMS or similar proprietary scheduling program is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 Years with Bachelors or 1-3 Years with Masters or HS diploma + 7-10 years of relevant experience.
