Job Description
Our organization is seeking an experienced Lead Information Systems Security Officer to help protect our platform. The ISSO will develop, implement, and test information security measures/controls, and work with the software teams to ensure the applications on the platform meet the required security controls/measures. The ISSO will be the principal point of contact for compliance audits such as FedRAMP or CMMC. Our ideal candidate is a CISSO, CISSP, or CISM with 8-10 years of experience in information technology or cybersecurity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement data security measures
- Create controls to monitor networks and user access
- Perform vulnerability and risk assessments
- Respond to security breaches
- Perform security updates
- Ensure employee/developer compliance with security measures
- Assist with preventative and emergency maintenance
- Create and maintain a System Security Plan

Requirements and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics strongly preferred
- Experience in IT or cybersecurity (8-10 years)
- CISSO, CISSP, or CISM preferred
- Experience and understanding of AWS and AWS security best practices
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty highly desired but not required
- Has conducted a compliance audit (i.e., FedRAMP, CMMC, PCI, etc.)
- Experience with network administration
- Experience with Linux and Windows
- Analytical and technical skills
Security Clearance:
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance of SECRET or higher.
