Summary
HII – Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is seeking a motivated leader for the position of GWAC/IDIQ Program Manager with a proven record of driving task order revenue growth in the Federal market. This position will work closely with others in the Business Development team, as well as the line organization leadership and members of the supporting functional areas, to generate revenue using our portfolio of master contract vehicles (ex. OASIS, MAS, Alliant). The GWAC/IDIQ Program Manager will be responsible for providing program management, contract compliance, building and maintaining relationships with government and industry peers, identifying market opportunities, building pipeline, offering contract vehicle education and recommendations, capturing new contract vehicles, and supporting task order proposals. The position is in Fairfax, VA, with the opportunity for telework.

What you will do
- Engage with internal stakeholders, government customers and industry partners to identify and shape potential opportunities using knowledge of company capabilities, client relationships and contract vehicles (ex. GSA OASIS, GSA Schedule, ASTRO)
- Consult with HII's internal business groups regarding contract scope and features/benefits and recommend relevant acquisition strategies
- Identify and help qualify new task order business opportunities and support pipeline development
- Monitor procurement portals and ensure task order distribution to internal channels
- Provide bid/no-bid recommendations on opportunities
- Support the capture and proposal development phases of the opportunity lifecycle by providing customer insights, color review participation, and ensuring submissions are compliant with master contract requirements
- Produce accurate and timely contract reports
- Develop/maintain websites, marketing materials and collateral
- Participate in marketing events such as program management reviews, and conferences
- Identify, shape and participate in the capture of new government-wide GWACs/IDIQs
- Participate in industry groups/committees and bring market insights back to HII
- Be able to utilize your excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership
- Have a willingness to be a good teammate, working collaboratively and across borders to further company goals
- Personally model HII values of integrity, safety, honesty, engagement, responsibility and performance
What you must have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 8+ years' relevant experience in business development; OR Master's degree plus 6 years relevant experience in business development
- Experience working with MAC/IDIQ/GWAC master contract vehicles and task orders
- Established relationships with GSA FAS/AAS personnel
- Strong customer service focus
- Exemplary work ethic, judgement, and independent initiative attuned to meeting deadlines
- Ability to coordinate across multiple matrixed resource teams and influence those not in your direct line of authority
- Experience identifying key growth areas and opportunities aligned with corporate growth strategies
- Clearance: Eligible to obtain and maintain Secret clearance or higher

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
