Summary:
HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to work out of our Annapolis Junction, MD facility and support an additional local facility.
The selected individual must possess a broad knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) regulations, procedures and access control systems. The position will report to the Security Supervisor on all tasks and interface with DCSA on security clearance matters, rulings, and interpretations of the NISPOM and execution of all contracts. They will ensure local procedures align with corporate security policies and applicable government regulations. The FSO will coordinate with other functional areas and business area leadership to identify and support business needs. #LI-KW1

What you will do:
• Administer security programs and procedures for classified programs
• Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
• Obtain rulings and interpretations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
• Conduct security education courses, security audits, and facility inspections
• Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive actions
• Prepare, implement, and ensure procedures for safeguarding all classified material
• Manage all classified contract DD254's for the company
• Prepare and submit required security reports to DCSA and/or customer officials
• Oversee collateral visit and clearance process, as well as, classified document control
• Provide incident response to include initial and final reporting with recommendations towards corrective actions
• Manage facility security assessments and audits to ensure minimum security standards are implemented at all sites
• Interface with the internal departments, as necessary
• Support divisions FSO's with Foreign Visitor management
• Perform access control audits for insider threat and DFAR/CUI compliance
What you must have:
• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience;
• Five (5) years minimum experience managing DoD contractor security programs;
• Minimum 5 years of experience as FSO, CSSO, CPSO, or SSO;
• Knowledge of both government and industrial security to analyze evaluate and interpret current security requirements;
• Must be able to interpret the intent of available guidelines and use considerable judgment in applying them to individual situations;
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience utilizing DISS, SWFT, NISS;
• Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w/ poly

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
