Summary:
Huntington Ingalls Industries – Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) (formerly Alion Science and Technology) is in search of a F15E Simulator Instructor Pilot or Weapons System Office (WSO) to support Virtual Test and Training Center (VTTC), Nellis AFB NV.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Selected candidates will be expected to meet the following requirements:
- Individual must be capable to fly the simulator in the capacity of a 2 or 4-ship flight lead (if required) using current tactics and employment standards. Shall maintain ground training currency (IRC, CRM/FRM, academics, etc.) and be physically qualified to perform these duties.
- Will be required to operate mission planning software and be able to load files into simulators and devices used in the cockpits (ie. Electronic Flight Book, etc.).
- Take part in mission planning problem solving, produce products required for mission planning, execution, debrief, analysis, brief flight members on mission specifics.
- Execute flight duties at a BMC (instructor) proficiency level, take notes during events, provide and receive constructive feedback during debriefs, analyze post-mission data, operate IOS (or equivalent operating stations) consoles as SMEs.
- Will also serve as dedicated, expert-level liaisons with USAFWS, 57th WG, 53rd TEG and other organizations as directed by the VTTC.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous F-15E experience within last 5 years as an instructor ("K" prefix). Individuals with previous simulator instructor experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis predicated on airframe and compatible mission type.
- Required: Minimum of 500 hours in aircraft listed above
- Required: Basic Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point) proficiency skills.
- Required: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI & SAP eligibility
- Desired: More than 1,000 hours in aircraft listed above
- Desired: USAFWS graduate or equivalent
