HII – Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Contract Program Manager (PM) to work out of Honolulu, HI for PACAF's Readiness Air Program (RAP) Distributed Missions Operations (DMO) Contractor Instructor Pilot (CIP) contract.
HII - TSD provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

What you will do
As the Program Manager for PACAF's Readiness Air Program (RAP) Distributed Missions Operations (DMO) Contractor Instructor Pilot (CIP) contract, you will:
- Oversee the CIP operations at all Mission Training Centers (MTC) throughout the Pacific theater.
- You will be responsible for the performance and quality of work performed in support of the contract at all bases and shall coordinate with the Functional Director (FD) to resolve any program issues.
- Be responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program.
- You will direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- You will be responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans with subcontractors.
- Be responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to the program.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
- Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develop new business or expands services with the customer.
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Direct the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
- Select for hire and ensure the training of instructors to deliver services in accordance with the Government Performance Work Specification
- Ensure all performance delivery metrics are met on the assigned contract.
What we are looking for
- 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- At least 3 years, in the last 10 years, of direct USAF aircrew operations experience as a navigator, airborne systems operator or pilot
- You must possess at least a Secret level security clearance with a background investigation within the past six (6) years.
- All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
- A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors and subcontractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Accordingly, as a condition of employment with Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or submit documentation to be considered for and be approved for an exemption based on disability or sincerely held religious beliefs under the law.

Physical Requirements
Job performance may require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
