Position Summary:
Responsible for configuration management and data management of documents, hardware and software baselines, and data. Analyzes proposed product design changes to determine the effect on the overall system.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for configuration management and data management of documents, hardware and software baselines, and data. Analyzes proposed product design changes to determine the effect on the overall system.
- Responsible for configuration control during product development phase.
- Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations and system updates.
- Develop complex configuration analysis plans to encompass contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintains configuration management database.
- Coordinate with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting.
- Prepare deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met.
- Compily audit information. May audit subcontractors inspection or technical document preparation procedure to verify compliance with contract requirements.
- Prepare written or electronic records of part design change documents.
- Provide project-level technical support to other staff.
- Prepare or provides input to engineering analyses, status reports, letters, technical memoranda, briefings, and contract reports.
- Authorize the release of drawings and changes specified by Program Management and other functional groups.
- Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.
- Participate in special studies.
- Provide guidance to less experienced Configuration Analysts.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Schedules and Attends Monthly Configuration Control Board Meetings

Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- ITIL V4 Foundation -- Preferred
- General knowledge of multiple CAD software's (AUTOCAD preferred)
- General knowledge of SharePoint
- Experience writing SCCM packages for new AUTOCAD software installs
- Experience/ability to train associates on AUTOCAD/PDM/SharePoint interface issues and develop SOP's
- Experience setting up new networks and setting up computers for new users
- Team player/leader with ability to act as the interface between different teams (Government/Contractor/Vendors)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a valid state Driver's License
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline 4 to 6 years of directly related experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.
- In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.
