HII - Technical Solutions (TSD) is currently seeking a Computer System Administrator to support our customer, US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE). This position will be located in Poland.
The Computer System Administrator maintains and repairs computer systems, anticipates potential issues, as well as installs and upgrades necessary hardware and software. Other duties and responsibilities may include maintaining a smooth operation of multi-user computer systems and coordination with network administrators. Setting up, maintaining, and monitoring Local Area Network for threats and errors, and preventing those errors by anticipating potential problems by installing appropriate upgrades, patches, and firewalls. Additionally, the System Administrator provides technical support by assisting with troubleshooting of the user operating systems, applications issues, system configuration issues, and network operating problems. Also, the System Administrator participates in meetings with the IT department, discussing upcoming changes, upgrades, and recurring issues experienced by the users. #LI-NM1

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Setting up, maintaining and monitoring LAN for threats and errors
- Employing the latest security protocols
- Liaising with company's IT CONUS based help desk on behalf of the team wide IT issues
- Providing technical support to include troubleshooting user operating problems, application issues, system configuration issues and network operation problems
- Participating in meetings with company's IT department to discuss upcoming changes, upgrades and recurring problems as reported by employees
- Assisting and advising the Project Manager and the Site Security Officer in all IT issues as relating to safe exchange of information across the company networks.
- Work in Poland for up to one year, unless otherwise directed by the company or the customer
- Willing to work different shifts and stay on duty for up to 24 hours when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Three years of hands-on work experience with Microsoft Windows operating platforms
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware/software troubleshooting and help desk support
- Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Must be a US Citizen
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

- Willing to learn, understand and apply new technologies, techniques, and procedures
- Technical writing abilities that are useful in writing Standard Operating Procedures, 'How to' guides, and user instructions
- High level of attention to detail, and analytical approach to problem-solving
Physical Requirements
- Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline
- Able to climb ladders
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to wear hearing and eye protection
