Summary:
Huntington Ingalls Industies - Technical Solutions Division is seeking a talented and experienced veteran to join our team at Shaw AFB, in South Carolina. Shaw Air Force Base ranks as one of the oldest installations in the Air Force. Shaw Air Force Base is named in honor of 1st Lt. Ervin D. Shaw, a Sumter County native, killed in action during World War I while on a long-range reconnaissance flight behind enemy lines. Today, Shaw Air Force Base is the home of the United States Air Force Central Command (USAFCENT) Headquarters, the 15th Air Force Headquarters and the 20th Fighter Wing, and is the largest combat F-16 fighting wing. The base community consists of more than 7,140 active duty military members, 14,000 family members and more than 730 civilian employees. AFCENT is the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting, advisory and analytical services for the day-to-day management of the USAFCENT Command Operations Center (COC) with a focus on monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and coordinating USAFCENT mission activities in the Area of Operations on a 24/7 basis. Requires support of two personnel during all shifts to support directed requirements.
- Provide 24/7 support to the staff director and lead operations analyst for accomplishing varied and numerous day-to-day analytical expertise.
- Consolidate and provide input into operational briefings or briefing books to Commander, USAFCENT, and senior staff. Inform senior USAFCENT staff from either briefings or briefing binders of ongoing theater operations or issues.
- Provide instructions for operating existing and future command and control equipment in the COC, to include analyzing and formatting data on the digital video recording system(DVR) and creating digitized computer files suitable to send to senior leadership to enhance notification of key AORevents.
- Design, implement, and administer comprehensive database solutions for use by the USAFCENT Operations Center. Assist with management of the USAFCENT TMT.
- Assist with the management of the USAFCENT knowledge environment, information exchange, and collaborative situation (e.g. share point websites, file management system) such that historical and current operational files and related media are tracked, stored, and maintained. Maintain a firm grasp on information flow requirements to include mission, operations, and commander's intent.
- Serve as Crisis Action Team coordinating element and assist the RFI Manager in support of the USAFCENT staff.
- Maintain and update consolidated USAFCENT senior staff phone rosters and email distribution lists on the AFCENT networks.
- Track status of RFIs and short Notice taskers on behalf of the Chief ofStaff.
Experience, Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
- 1. Minimum of one years' experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications/e-mail systems or the equivalent.
- 2. Minimum of three years' experience in a NAF or component command staff or higher level or other service equivalent.
- 3. Top Secret/SCI clearance.
