Who We Are:

HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is currently seeking a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Field Service Representative to work out of their Abingdon, MD office in support of the Army Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) mission.

Technical Solutions division, helps solve tough national security challenges for the Department of Defense, the intelligence community and federal civilian agencies. Our expert capabilities include intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and cyber; secure enterprise IT engineering and operations; military training and simulation; logistics management and integrated product support; and fleet maintenance, modernization, repair and sustainment.

What You Will Do:
  • As the CBRN Field Service Representative, you will:
  • Provides technical program and equipment expertise in the area of both COTS and GOTS US&R equipment.
  • Identifies systemic problem trends and/or recurring equipment quality issues and provides feedback to supervisors and field units.
  • Recommends actions to resolve logistics management and operational problems with the goal of optimizing and improving current processes and systems.
  • Participates in designated US&R and Consequence Management (CM) meetings, conferences, and workshops. Designs, implements, monitors, and assesses processes to train maintainers and users of systems/tools.
  • Gathers and disseminates logistical information including readiness reports, pending shipment status, maintenance records, etc.
  • Providing On-Site Support (at Unit locations)


What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to gain access to and drive aboard Federal Government installations.
  • Must possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
  • A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Accordingly, as a condition of employment with Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption prior to starting employment.


Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Prior Military and/or CBRN Experience.
  • Familiarization with COTS CBRN equipment (PPE, Detection, and Safety).
