About the Role
The CSS Production Coordinator is responsible for the workflow/production coordination our Inbound and Outbound operations team. This includes the processes for the team with focus on service, quality, resource management, workplace safety, and metrics. The Production Coordinator will perform the same or similar functions as other members of the team for 50% - 75% of his/her time. This individual is the "go-to" person for the execution of daily processes and is the subject matter expert for one or more business processes. This role works closely with the business unit manager and other CSS leaders as needed.
Responsibilities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve overall production operations.
• Serving as the expert for all equipment and processes associated with the core functions of service areas.
• Coordinating the flow of work and availability of people and equipment across the unit.
• Interacting professionally with internal customers, vendors, and CSS team members regarding processes, best practices, problems, etc.
• Motivating team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Influencing the team to utilize materials and equipment efficiently.
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of process documentation, job aids, and training to deliver consistent quality.
• Understanding of the processes and equipment to improve the flow of work through the unit.
• Performing the same or similar functions as other members of the team for a significant percentage of the time.
What We're Looking For:
Initiative and Judgement -This role will be using scanners, printers, and assembly equipment. We want to exceed our customers' expectations. We also want to ensure that each person gets the right information at the right time.
Time Management -Due to the time-sensitive nature of our work, this role will be working closely with Production Specialists. Management to balance incoming work with critical outgoing mail.
Communication - Issues arise, work changes, problems occur. Clear and timely communication to senior colleagues and management will be critical. Ensuring we deliver world-class service to our clients while constantly improving how we run our business. is key.
Flexibility - This role will be a part of all areas of the process including inbound, outbound, and inventory management. Each day will bring new challenges, and our team is expected to work together to get the job done.
Requirements
• Have a solid operations background with 5+ years experience in operations or production background.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have 2 - 4 years previous experience directing the work of a team.
• Have the experience or be able to quickly learn the working knowledge of the Canadian Postal processes.
• Have excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Be willing to handle and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs with extended periods of standing.
• Be able to recognize need for change and influence teams to adjust quickly to workload/specific tasks .
• Be able to have flexible work hours and occasional overtime to meet client deadlines.
• Be will to participate in training sessions, meetings and cross-train in all areas of the operation.
• Be able to serve as the main contact for daily operations and specialize in specific business processes. Work closely with the business unit manager and other CSS leaders as needed.

• Verbal and written (English) communication skills exhibiting a firm understanding of business acumen. • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability for work of the unit. • Recognizes the need for change. Influence the team to adjust quickly in regard to workload and/or specific tasks assigned. • Flexible and adaptable with business needs. Demonstrate an ability to recognize the need to change priorities. • Ability to plan, prioritize, and leads others as needed to complete work in a timely manner. • Team player with ability to work independently and lead others. • Ability to handle high volume and pressure situations. • Excellent organizational skills.

Salary Pay Range
Minimum :
42,100 CAD
Maximum :
66,900 CAD
