About the Role
We're on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join and play a crucial role in our development and deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Handling the end-to-end platform support, architecture, troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of applications.
- Handling the end-to-end platform governance, ensures that the platform is utilized efficiently.
- Providing HA/DR strategy, configure infrastructure to this strategy and participate in DR exercise.
- Leveraging AWS design principles, data access patterns, and relevant AWS services.
- Monitoring AWS resources to ensure availability and scalability.
- Troubleshooting cloud-related infrastructure incidents and issues.
- Performing deployments and upgrades in AWS.
- Improving cloud product reliability, availability, maintainability, and cost/benefit-including developing fault-tolerant tools to ensure general robustness of cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Have 5 + years of experience in installations, upgrades, configurations and tuning of PRPC PEGA Infinity versions
- 5 years of experience working with AWS services EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, RDS, Athena, AWS Glue, Lake Formation, and SNS,
- Manage and analyzing GC logs, heap dumps, and thread dumps to pinpoint memory leaks,
- Demonstrate experience in debugging Pega-related issues to identify and rectify problems in Pega workflows,
- Demonstrate experience in writing scripts using Python, Ruby, YAML or Shell scripts to automate tasks.
- Follow of Metadata repositories such as AWS Glue Catalog, Glue crawler for data stored in: S3.
- Rules, and configurations to ensure that Pega applications operate smoothly, meet business requirements, and provide a seamless user experience
- Demonstrate handling patches, fixing vulnerabilities, AWS Cloud Watch event monitoring and Cert update via AWS Cert Manager.
- Able to work with network features, e.g., cloud network topology, routing.
- Able efficient resource utilization, and concurrency issues with accuracy to recommend targeted solutions.
