FP&A Manager role will Manage the P&L for various business units within Alight and provide valuable insights to take informed decisions. This role provides support to business leaders and finance leaders and is responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of the business units. This role manages a team of financial analysts.

Key responsibilities include:

Partner with the finance leaders and the business unit leaders to report financial results and assess the risks and opportunities in achieving financial targets.

Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting materials to be shared with Alight leadership and key stakeholders.

Lead and prepare variance analysis and provide insight on monthly, quarterly, year-to-date, year-to-go, and full year consolidated results and margins, against plan, forecast, and prior year results.

Develop a strong understanding of the business to appropriately position the financial results of the business and prepare appropriate outlook for the business unit.

Perform data driven analysis on operational and commercial aspects of the business to enable leadership decision making.

Assist the finance leaders in presenting the financials to the business unit leadership team.

Actively contribute to the process improvement and reporting enhancement initiatives.

Support decision making processes with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis on wide range of business and financial matters including quarterly analyst package materials, internal/external audit requests, and business metric development.

Requirements include:

Qualified Accountant/Semi Qualified Accountant (CA/CWA/CIMA/ACCA) or MBA in Finance/M.Com with 8 years of total experience (4 years of relevant experience) and with history of strong performance.

Experience working in outsourcing or professional services companies will be an added advantage.

Strong capability across Microsoft O365 suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Strong financial acumen, with critical a eye and attention to detail

Solid understanding of accounting principles and how transactions flow through financial statements

Experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing complex financial models

Ability to prioritize individual and team activities in time-sensitive environment

Ability to influence, work collaboratively, and build relationships

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Analytical and inquisitive mentality

Workday and Adaptive Insights experience preferred
