Summary
Do you want to be part of an engaging and collaborative team where you get to impact thousands of lives? You have the opportunity to use your technical skills to program and test Alight's pension calculation system and perform manual calculations to meet the needs of your client. You will use your problem-solving skills to work through business problems while also working closely with your client team in a structured environment. You will get to do all of this while interacting and working in-person and virtually with colleagues from our offices all over the world.

Job Responsibilities
- Problem solve standard situations that arise due to client inquiries
- Ask questions, absorb knowledge to gradually gain experience
- Learn to analyze the data based on delivered information
- Know client requirements to then program and test our system along with performing manual calculations
- Validate calculations and determine calculation accuracy
- Produce and maintain reports for program analysis, specifications, and testing activities throughout the project for the client
- Learn what DB is all about through developing an understanding of clients
- Learn to complete tasks by following best processes from the planning stage to the customer use stage
Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent English: C1 minimum
- Problem solving skills and analytical skills to be able to recognize obstacles and finish projects with help but without detailed procedures
- Proficiency in excel with an understanding of SDLC principles and conditional statements - programming knowledge a plus
- Strong ability to learn through formal and on the job training
- Organized with ability to prioritize work and adjust to change efficiently and thoughtfully
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in regards to a team environment and translating information from technical to everyday language
- Strong logical and mathematical thinker who enjoys structure and rules but also has a strong desire to think outside the box and improve process efficiency
Education
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science, finance, MIS, or equivalent work experience
