We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As a Warehouse Operator II supporting our Fannin warehouse, you will be trusted with receiving and inspecting incoming materials and preparing materials for shipment in Houston, TX.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Performing a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data
- Verifying quantity, weight, and conformance of materials against the shipment record
- Preparing records of materials shipped and bills of lading, and routing materials to destinations
- Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method Recording received and shipped items
- May lay-out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment
- Being required to routinely lift to 25-30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work at heights up to 25 feet

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Work Hours: Work hours: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM CST - 3:30 PM EST, with overtime sometimes required
- Sponsorship & Relocation: Not Available
- Prior Distribution Center Experience
- SAP Experience
- Having strong attention to detail and accuracy
