Job Purpose
Provides strategic leadership in directing the manufacturing operations of the specified Alcon business unit to support cost-effective, high-quality manufacture of sterile medical devices, pharmaceutical & lens care, or lens products in full compliance with worldwide Alcon and other regulatory requirements.
Essential Job Functions
- Develops and executes the Site Strategy in alignment with Alcon and MTO priorities.
- Ensures the highest quality product is manufactured at the lowest possible cost and in compliance with Alcon and worldwide regulatory requirements.
- Maintains and improves quality systems and regulatory compliance related to product, safety, and environmental affairs.
- Perform and conduct business in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and with high ethical standards.
- Partners with R&D, MS&T, etc. to introduce new products, process improvements, and system enhancements as required.
- Develops a strong partnership with Site Quality Leader to builds and maintains a quality mindset.
- Manages the annual financial operating budget for the site in alignment with Alcon policies and regulatory requirements.
- Builds a culture of Continuous Improvement of productivity, processes, cost, and ROA.
- Implements Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Fosters develops a safety-free performance and adherence to safety and compliance policy/procedures to provide a safer environment for all employees.
- Liaises with Corporate, regional and/or global platform teams to leverage synergies.
- Develops a talent mind-set culture within the organization to current and future business needs and succession for key leadership roles.
- Develops and fosters a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Leads teams, set goals, monitor progress and remain current on all key employee performance appraisals and talent management processes/systems.
- Provides employees with the authority, accountability, training, information and resources to achieve their full potential and successfully drive the company's performance.
- Ensures an open and transparent culture in which all associates feel they are valued and appreciated.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- Experience: 15 years relevant experience, including 10 years demonstrated people leadership
- Language: The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English and local primary language
