As a QA Technician I, you will be accountable for performing a variety of activities to support production and QC Test schedules while showing efficiency and flexibility at our Fort Worth ASPEX Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX.

  • Performs analyses, inspection, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property.
  • Performs a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and aids in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
  • Performs required inspections, checks, analysis, and documentation of studies.
  • Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports.
  • Reviews production records for conformance to procedures.
  • Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged, or tested product.
  • Performs chemical sampling activities to support production and QC Test schedules.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • The ability to lift/carry 20-50lbs.
  • Work hours: 1st shift; Monday-Friday; 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • Travel Requirements: None
