As a Manager, Professional Development and Programs supporting Vision Care Professional Education and Development, you will be trusted to work on leading the HCP engagement strategy and cross-functional HCP engagement needs of the US and Global Vision Care commercial organizations and helps project manage the peer-to-peer education programs at our Fort Worth, TX location.

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Supports Professional Education and Development team with forward thinking HCP strategy, leading CASE implementation.
  • Leads the strategic and detailed logistical and tactical support of all HCP engagement for professional programs, HCP training, conferences, sponsored opportunities, and commercial business needs.
  • Helps develop and manage program content needs for the US HCP and academic peer-to-peer programs, including MAP
  • Helps coordinate HCP training for peer-to-peer programs
  • Key understanding of global and US payment landscape and policies for efficient and timely HCP contracting and payment
  • Leads the Global and US VC HCP contracting, logistics invoicing and rosters
  • Helps manage and effectively communicate peer-to-peer program intent, impact, and metrics to sales stakeholders
  • Manages HCP utilization and budget and peer-to-peer programs budget, and reports
  • HCP vetting and detailed logistical support for professional programs.
Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance for this role will be measured):
  • Efficient cross-functional internal HCP engagement procedures created and implemented
  • Effective management and instant reporting of all aspects HCP budget and utilization
  • Successfully implementing and preparing HCP advocate KPIs for performance and development
  • Proactively identifies and effectively implements efficiencies in HCP strategy and tactics
  • Adherence to Alcon Compliance, Privacy, and other applicable guidelines; reduced infractions and on-time contracting and invoicing
  • Eyecare or optometrist experience is a plus
  • Working experience with significant independent project management experience with high-level Excel
  • Evidence of strong working relationships and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skill set and ability to effectively communicate across functions, across borders and with medical professionals
  • Solid understanding of finance process, marketing concepts and business priorities
  • Strong track record of being a collaborative team partner
  • Demonstrates a can-do, goal-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit that embraces performance, accountability, teamwork, management credibility and success
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.
  • Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
