We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Director of Digital Health Commerce Services. This role will concentrate on unifying our digital health commerce infrastructure into a streamlined framework that provides common APIs and services for digital health products. Additionally, this leader will harmonize identity and access management services for various internal and external user personas and establish the foundational infrastructure for a Digital Health Marketplace. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including ITCI, Digital Product teams, and regional/franchise teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic platform simplification roadmap with a focus on establishing a unified digital health framework.
  • Define and drive the development of common APIs and services to support digital health products across Vision Care and Surgical businesses.
  • Leverage existing Enterprise ITCI infrastructure to build reusable components, services, and APIs that enable consistent and scalable digital health solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure platform architecture aligns with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Own the end-to-end strategy and implementation of IAM solutions for various personas using digital health applications. Partner with ITCI Enterprise Capabilities, Security, and Privacy teams to ensure robust IAM practices that meet compliance and privacy requirements.
  • Define and build the foundational infrastructure for a scalable and flexible Digital Health Marketplace to serve Vision Care and Surgical business needs. Drive initiatives to enable marketplace capabilities such as product catalog management, vendor integration, payment processing, and customer experience optimization.
  • Develop a clear product roadmap and strategy for digital health services, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, security, privacy, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including ideation, prioritization, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure success and drive data-informed decision-making.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for digital health platform initiatives across Vision Care and Surgical businesses.
  • Work closely with ITCI Enterprise Capabilities teams to align on enterprise-level integrations and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, partnering with security and privacy teams to address emerging risks.
  • Engage with external vendors and partners to explore innovative solutions and drive value creation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, digital health platforms, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in managing digital health platforms, including SAP Commerce Cloud and commercetools.com.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security/privacy compliance in digital health or similar domains.
  • Strong understanding of digital health platform architecture, API development, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with building and scaling digital marketplaces or health ecosystems.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Experience in the healthcare or digital health industry, including familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Certifications in product management, IAM, or digital health platforms (e.g., SAP certifications).
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
