We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon and we are looking to hire an Associate Scientist in Analytical Chemistry to join our R&D Team in Fort Worth, Texas. You will be in the forefront of this mission, supporting stability testing and analysis.
In this role a typical day will include:
- Following established procedures, protocols, or best practices to analyze stability and development samples.
- Performing assigned tasks under minimal supervision in support of approved projects and documents work properly.
- Executing well-designed study, conducts testing and analyzes data without deviation following established procedures under general supervision.
- Applying general technical skills to complete assigned work and solves routine problems of limited scope.
- Thoroughly and clearly documenting experiments in laboratory notebook and assisting in preparation of technical documents; may provide assistance in the design of next experiment.
- Communicating and collaborating with colleagues within functional sub-team, and with supervisor and/or senior staff.

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent year of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc. +4 yrs; M.S. +0 yrs; PHD +0 yrs.
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
