We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon and we are looking to hire an Associate Scientist in Analytical Chemistry to join our R&D Team in Fort Worth, Texas. You will be in the forefront of this mission, supporting stability testing and analysis.

In this role a typical day will include:

  • Following established procedures, protocols, or best practices to analyze stability and development samples.
  • Performing assigned tasks under minimal supervision in support of approved projects and documents work properly.
  • Executing well-designed study, conducts testing and analyzes data without deviation following established procedures under general supervision.
  • Applying general technical skills to complete assigned work and solves routine problems of limited scope.
  • Thoroughly and clearly documenting experiments in laboratory notebook and assisting in preparation of technical documents; may provide assistance in the design of next experiment.
  • Communicating and collaborating with colleagues within functional sub-team, and with supervisor and/or senior staff.

  • Experience with Analytical Chemistry and Separation Science
  • Experience in Chromatography
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
