We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As an Associate Director of Medical Affairs, supporting the U.S. Corporate Medical Affairs Team, in Fort Worth, TX.
A typical day will include:
- Planning, and executing clinical trials/research and data collection activities
- Contributing to implementation of clinical protocols and facilitating completion of final reports.
- Recruiting clinical investigators and negotiating study design and costs
- Directing human clinical trials, phases III and IV, for company products under development
- Participating in adverse event reporting and safety responsibilities monitoring
- Coordinating and providing reporting information for reports submitted to regulatory agencies
- Monitoring adherence to protocols and determining study completion
- Coordinating and overseeing investigator initiations and group studies
- Serving as medical consultant to marketing, commercial or research project teams and government regulatory agencies
- Signing off on product safety reviews
- May participate in adverse event reporting and safety responsibilities monitoring.
- May act as consultant/liaison with other corporations when working under licensing agreements.

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 7 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: 40 hours
- Travel: 10% domestic
