The Early Career & Emerging Talent team focuses specifically on interns and apprentices and creating world-class programs. We support all global teams at Airbnb interested in engaging with junior level talent as a way to support impactful projects and build a pipeline for future roles. The team provides the unique opportunity to touch upon all aspects of the candidate and employee experience, from engaging with university and community partners, to advising hiring managers on designing an interview process, to working with cross-functional partners to onboard interns.
The difference you will make:
We are hiring an experienced recruiter for a 6-month contract to support our non-technical intern roles. We are looking for a recruiter who will hire for our Communications, Public Policy, Legal, and Finance roles, many of which are geared towards graduate-level students. Our internships span globally. In addition to recruiting for the US, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our team members based in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Approximately half of our hiring managers are new to the intern and early career recruiting world, providing an opportunity to educate and consult.
A typical day:
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for a variety of technical and non-technical interns across all Airbnb regions (Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America)
- Design region-specific strategies to build interest with university students to meet the intern demand from business groups
- Partner with universities, organizations, and regional vendors to source and manage candidate experience through the recruiting process
- Activate candidates and ensure a smooth, quick, and consistent candidate experience
- Utilize our applicant tracking system to manage the recruiting process including sourcing, tracking, managing candidates through the interview process, extending offers, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
- Partner with Hiring Managers and supporting teams on business needs in order to build a competitive strategy and meet hiring goal
- Facilitate hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers
Your expertise:
- 4+ years of recruiting experience in university recruiting/early career talent
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting in a variety of roles including graduate-level students
- Experience partnering with hiring managers, interviewers, and team members throughout hiring process
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the hiring needs of multiple regions
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Patient, communicative, and must possess the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, experience managing multiple job requisitions with different hiring managers
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Experience using data to track and evaluate recruiting success over time
- Passionate about the early career space and the Airbnb product/brand
Your location:
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.

Pay Rate Range: $65-$75 per hour
