The Difference You Will Make:

Your main responsibility will be to successfully bring searches to fruition and deliver exceptional experiences for candidates and hiring managers. Our team takes a consultative approach, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Dedicated to sourcing and hiring top talent in the market, we ensure that every individual interacting with Airbnb’s recruitment process feels valued and supported. 

A Typical Day: 

  • Manage and drive a full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interview, feedback and offers for all levels of candidates from entry to senior level.
  • Build pipeline for multiple requisitions across business teams and geographies, consider diversity and the importance of balanced candidate slates.
  • Drive inclusion through building diverse pipelines at top of the funnel.
  • Partner with talent partners, hiring managers, HR operations and finance to build hiring strategy and plan.
  • Influence business leaders and educate hiring managers on process, interview best practices, and decision making. 
  • Provide exceptional candidate experiences. Create new ways to surprise and delight candidates as they go through our interview process.
  • Accurately track candidate data and use systems correctly to be able to report to the business.
  • Find the best, brightest and most passionate people for Airbnb using new and creative ways to find and engage them.
  • Represent Airbnb with integrity and professionalism. Speak passionately and authentically about Airbnb and our mission.

Your Expertise:

  • 5 - 7+ years full cycle recruiting experience is required.   
  • Bilingual, fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Experience recruiting in high volume, general & administrative functions is required.
  • Track record for successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional candidates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly.
  • Well-developed analytical and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive, can do attitude. Receives feedback well and looks to constantly improve and grow.
  • Comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity.  
  • Ability to be patient and communicate respectfully in a fast paced environment.  
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and a solutions orientation.
  • Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • High-level of self-initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility.

Your Location:

Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in Canada to be able to conduct their work. Currently, employees can be located in: British Colombia, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, or Saskatchewan. This list is continuously being updated, please check back with us if the provinces you live in is on the list.
