About the Program:

The Finance Graduate Program is a unique opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills in various areas of finance. Through structured rotations, you will be working on impactful projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and gaining exposure to Agoda’s dynamic and fast-paced business environment.

This program is designed to build future Agodans in finance by providing a strong foundation in financial analysis and operations, business acumen, and data-driven decision-making. Participants will undertake three 6-month rotations (18-month program), tailored to two distinct tracks: Business and Analytics, allowing you to explore your interests and develop specialized expertise.

Program Highlights:

  • Program Start Date is the 9th of June 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.
  • Rotational Structure: Gain exposure to multiple finance functions, including procurement, financial planning, treasury, tax, accounting, and more.
  • Skill Development: Build expertise in analytics, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and financial modeling.
  • Mentorship: Work closely with experienced professionals and provide direct mentorship to senior leadership, from finance managers to the chief finance officer (CFO).
  • Global Exposure: Collaborate with teams across Agoda’s global operations and gain insights into international finance practices.

Program Tracks and Rotations - Finance Analytics Track:

This track focuses on developing expertise in financial planning, strategic decision-making, and business operations.

1. Procurement and Vendor Management

Develop expertise in procurement by learning to write and issue RFPs, analyze proposals, negotiate contracts, categorize procurement data, create spend reports, and assess vendor profiles while conducting risk evaluations and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

2. FBP (Financial Business Partnering)

Collaborate on building performance dashboards, analyze financial data, and gain experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic business decisions and align financial strategies with business goals.

3. Tax

Work on intercompany financing, global tax models, and indirect tax compliance by learning about credit facilities, financial reporting, international tax advisory, and regulatory requirements such as VAT and GST.

4. Treasury

Help manage banking relationships, optimize liquidity through cash flow management, analyze foreign exchange exposure, execute FX trades, and develop financial strategies while ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to long-term planning initiatives.

5. FOC (Finance Operations & Controlling)

Gain hands-on experience in accounting reconciliations, payment operations, collections, credit risk management, and payouts while developing SOPs, optimizing processes, and implementing Lean Six Sigma concepts to enhance financial operations and efficiency.

 

Eligibility/requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (graduation period: December 2024 to May 2025)
  • If you have graduated before December 2024, to be eligible, candidates must have less than 12 months of full-time work experience (excluding internships) by the program start date, 9th June 2025.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and create actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

It's Great if you have:

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Superset.
