VP, Global Total Rewards
As the VP of Global Total Rewards at Adyen, you’ll lead the charge in crafting and implementing forward-thinking global compensation and benefits programs that resonate with our mission. Your expertise will be crucial in attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent, all while supporting Adyen’s ambitious objectives. Joining our team means you will lead a global Total Rewards team, and collaborate closely with our HR Centers of Excellence and Adyen Leadership to ensure a holistic and consistent people experience across the organization. As part of our people leadership team, you’ll also play a vital role in fostering growth within the broader HR community.

- Drive Strategic Vision: Assess and enhance our global rewards strategy, focusing on base pay, variable pay, and incentive plans (including equity) that align with Adyen’s high-impact goals, all underpinned by data and industry benchmarks.
- Craft Compelling Narratives: Develop and articulate a rewards philosophy that resonates with every level of our organization, integrating total rewards strategies with our employee value proposition and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Collaborate for Impact: Partner with senior leadership and HR Centers of Excellence to identify key opportunities for enhancing our rewards offering.
- Oversee Executive Programs: Manage executive compensation initiatives, including preparing materials for our Management Board and Remuneration Committee, overseeing equity management, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Enhance Benefits Offerings: Lead the design and administration of comprehensive employee benefits programs—ranging from health insurance to wellness initiatives—to ensure our employees feel valued and supported.
- Empower Your Team: Lead and mentor a talented group of rewards professionals, fostering a culture of development and growth.
- Ensure Compliance: Take ownership of all compliance and regulatory updates, ensuring our programs meet necessary standards globally.
What We Look For:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in rewards management, with a strong record of designing and implementing successful global compensation and benefits programs.
- Proven experience in executive compensation and equity administration.
- Experience leading teams of 10+ colleagues in the realms of Global Compensation, Rewards, or Global Mobility.
- Expertise in navigating compliance and regulatory requirements surrounding global compensation programs.
- A results-driven approach paired with outstanding analytical and project management capabilities, creative problem solving, and with a focus on continuous improvement.

- This role is based out of our SF or Amsterdam office. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
- This role requires domestic and international travel
