To ensure a future with the best and most diverse talent for Adyen, we’re expanding our Global Business Recruitment Leadership Team with a Staff Recruitment Leader in our Amsterdam office. In this role you will be fully responsible for overseeing the talent acquisition strategy for our Staff functions globally, collaborating with our company’s Global Leadership Team and Lead HRBP’s and leading an EMEA hiring focused team of Recruiters onsite.

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

What you’ll do

  • Fully responsible for EMEA Staff hiring as the Recruitment Team Lead;
  • Fully responsible for Global Staff hiring as the Recruitment Functional Owner; 
  • Create and execute the recruitment strategy aligned with business needs;
  • Build the local Recruitment team; hire, mentor and retain collaborating  Recruiters;
  • Build and maintain strong, open and trusted relationships with global leaders;
  • Ensure hiring quality aligned with Adyen's values and company culture;
  • Lead global and local projects on DEI, rewards, employer branding, and candidate experience to constantly improve the Recruitment function.

Who you are

  • Minimum of 10 years within Recruitment, 4+ years of leading teams;
  • Extensive full cycle recruitment experience with a focus on passive candidate generation in the competitive tech market;
  • Proven track record of building and mentoring teams;
  • High level of self-motivation; you’re someone who is able to define structure and prioritize;
  • High personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Experience in Staff hiring (eg Legal, Risk, Compliance, Regulatory) is a pre.
