We’re seeking a dynamic and driven leader to manage our EMEA Onboarding Operations team. In this role, you’ll lead a team focused on advising and consulting on compliance processes and product offerings during customer onboarding while gathering insights to improve the onboarding process from an operational perspective.

You will be expected to develop strategies that scale the business and collaborate with global teams to maintain a seamless balance between regulatory compliance and commercial objectives. Additionally, you will work closely with commercial leadership to understand Adyen’s future strategies and translate them into operational needs, helping to prioritize and drive key initiatives.

 

What you'll do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Onboarding Specialists, ensuring their professional growth and the timely completion of onboarding tasks and projects.
  • Help the team drive process optimization initiatives for scalability and efficiency.
  • Engage with key stakeholders (Commercial, Compliance, Product) to enhance onboarding efficiency and merchant satisfaction.
  • Stay ahead of commercial trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, adapting processes accordingly.
  • Utilize data analysis to guide decisions, monitor performance, and report on key metrics.
  • Lead strategic projects to optimize onboarding, aligning with merchant needs and operational goals.
  • Collaborate globally and regionally to ensure consistency in onboarding practices.
  • Define and clearly communicate objectives and goals for the team

 

Who you are:

  • Skilled in stakeholder management, particularly with Sales, Compliance, and Product teams.
  • Analytical mindset, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communicator, able to engage effectively across all levels.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and committed to driving meaningful change.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, executing with impact.
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Experienced in project management, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • 1–4 years of people management experience, with a strong focus on team growth and success (preferably in operations or commercial roles).
