Team Lead - Onboarding Operations

We’re looking for a dynamic and driven leader to manage our Onboarding Operations team across North America, reporting directly to the Head of CDD & KYC operations. In this role, you’ll lead a team of talented Onboarding Specialists, which is a team focused on advising and consulting on compliance and underwriting processes when onboarding new customers. You are expected to build strategies that scale with the business, and partner with global teams to ensure a smooth balance between regulatory compliance and our commercial goals.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Onboarding Specialists, aligning their efforts with the company’s vision and priorities
  • Design and refine processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of customer onboarding
  • Collaborate globally and regionally to influence discussions on commercial initiatives, compliance projects, and operational scalability
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, optimizing workflows and reducing errors
  • Work cross-functionally to integrate customer due diligence (CDD) and compliance procedures seamlessly into business operations
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging tech, and evolving regulations in CDD/KYC to keep us compliant and innovative

Who you are:

  • 1-3 years of experience managing people, with a passion for fostering team growth and success
  • A proven leader with experience developing and empowering teams
  • Strong in stakeholder management, especially when collaborating with commercial teams like Sales and Account Management
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and always looking for ways to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communicator who can engage effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Adaptable to evolving regulations and focused on driving proactive compliance initiatives
