As our Team Lead CDD & KYC Operations in LATAM, you will spearhead the maintenance of unparalleled standards of accuracy and compliance within our CDD & KYC processes. Your role will involve guiding a team of CDD professionals, setting clear KPI's, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies, as well as being a point of contact and sparring partner for regional stakeholders. 

What you’ll do

  • Guide, support, mentor, and motivate a team of CDD professionals, ensuring their alignment with company goals.
  • Develop, implement, and refine strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of CDD & KYC processes.
  • Guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, conducting regular audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous process improvement, leveraging data-driven insights and feedback to enhance workflows and minimize errors.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to ensure seamless integration of CDD & Compliance procedures and promote a culture of compliance across the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving regulatory standards related to CDD & KYC, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
  • Drive and take part in global & regional discussions around commercial initiatives, compliance projects and operational scalability. 

Who you are

  • Great understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices pertaining to CDD & KYC.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members effectively.
  • Strong analytical- and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes and drive proactive compliance measures.
  • 3+ years of people management experience
