As Adyen continues to expand and deepen its product suite, we are looking for committed, strategic team members to drive global strategy amongst Platforms & Financial Services (P&FS) customers. 

The Global Platform Strategy team is part of the broader Platforms & Financial Services (P&FS) Pillar. Our team mission is to unlock Adyen’s potential in Platform & Financial Services through setting global platform strategy and working on needle-moving initiatives. We will drive revenue at scale by setting direction, driving global commercial execution, and laying the foundation for our pillar team to develop impactful strategies. 

Team objectives include:

  • Ensuring that our pre-GTM strategy captures the expectations of future customers.
  • Answer the most needle-moving questions for Adyen to continue growing commercial success across Platform verticals.

The Strategy Manager - Global Platform Strategy will play a critical role in the team’s future. This person will have global responsibility and will work in partnership with global go-to-market, partnerships, and product teams to see through our ambitions. You will provide structure and a data-driven commercial lens to help define our product strategy for P&FS. And you will orchestrate go-to-market enablement of key products and capabilities, rolling up your sleeves to get the job done when needed.  

What you’ll do

  • Use the frameworks and skillset of a Strategy Consultant to structure answers to the mission critical questions impacting our future success in Platforms & Financial Services. 
  • Work with the GTM, Ops, and Solutions teams to ground our new product strategies in business need, operational costs, and definition of success.
  • Understand external trends and insights about our users, products, and industry and help shape the positioning of our solution.
  • Drive cross-company projects that support the scaling of key solution-related processes, for example related to enhancing product analytics.
  • Strategic, outside-of-the-box thinker with ability to identify new opportunities and execute to capture them quickly.
  • Strong communicator able to challenge the status quo and influence across functions, levels and customers.
  • Curious / collaborative approach that includes diverse ideas / inputs.

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 7+ years of management consulting or related experience.
  • You are structured in your way of thinking, take a customer-first mindset, and enjoy working at the intersection of product and commercial strategy. 
  • You are an enthusiastic and experienced problem solver; you identify challenges and can design and implement innovative solutions. 
  • You are flexible in how you approach different stakeholders & topics and are  always committed and very hands-on in getting things done.
  • You have experience with go-to-market strategies, business cases and market studies 
  • You have a strong affinity for numbers and live by an analytical approach.
  • You feel comfortable in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment where you will be driving multiple projects whilst continuously evaluating and prioritizing them to maximize impact.
  • You can prioritize and communicate efficiently.
  • Ability to travel internationally and work across time zones.
