Adyen is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our new Invoicing Service, a critical component of our Billing Service. This role is ideal for a Product Manager passionate about financial technology and eager to shape the future of Adyen. Your mission will be to design and implement a cutting-edge invoicing system that aligns with our customer needs, enabling seamless self-service onboarding and efficient invoice generation.

What you'll do:

  • Own the Invoicing Service: You will be in charge of the entire lifecycle of the new Invoicing Service, from concept to execution. This includes developing a scalable, containerized service that processes invoice requests, applies business logic, and generates compliant invoices.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, finance, and compliance teams to ensure that the invoicing service meets all business and regulatory requirements. You will also engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Drive Innovation: Lead the development of a new invoice data model and architecture that assist complex billing scenarios, including multi-entity aggregation, correct taxation, and FX applications.
  • Ensure Compliance and Accuracy: Oversee the implementation of compliance requirements and maintain traceability throughout all intermediate processes to ensure that the invoicing service is accurate, reliable, and secure.

Who you are:

  • Experienced Product Manager: You have 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on financial technology or billing systems. Experience with invoicing or billing processes in a global context is highly desirable.
  • Technically Proficient: You have a strong understanding of scalable architectures, containerized services, and API integrations. You are comfortable discussing technical details with engineers and can contribute to the design of complex systems.
  • Customer-Centric: You have a deep empathy for both internal and external customers, getting the importance of delivering frictionless experiences that meet diverse business needs.
  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: You excel at managing complex data models and ensuring that all aspects of a product are thoroughly validated and compliant with local regulations.
  • Strong Communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders.
