We're looking for a candidate who's passionate about financial technology, including innovation of new features and functionalities. You’ll be joining the Banking Network team within our Platforms and Financial Services solution. The team is building and maintaining the end-to-end processing of banking transactions for a variety of use cases. You will collaborate closely with the different product teams as well as functional teams to ensure a best-in-class banking product.
The role is based out of Chicago and sits within our Platforms and Financial Services Solution. The team is responsible for all financial products we offer to our customers. Whether we work with large partner platforms, medium sized local merchants, or major international enterprise businesses, our products need to meet our clients expectations and seamlessly fit into their systems.

What you’ll do

  • You will be challenged to build a best-in-class banking network and banking capabilities with a focus (but not exclusively) on North America
  • Perform in depth analysis of Payment Systems like ACH, FedWire Funds, FedNow, RTP and scope out improvements and changes to our integrations with these
  • Gather an in-depth understanding of Adyen’s core banking system and scope out improvements to our capabilities
  • Actively engage with customers, commercial teams, compliance, risk and other stakeholders to get their perspective and take their feedback into your vision and strategy
  • You will multiply your impact by guiding and growing the team working directly or indirectly on our offering

Who you are

  • You have 4 to 8 years of working experience in product or adjacent functions around monitoring and performance within a fintech- or financial services environment focused on payments
  • You understand end-to-end transaction processing and are able to solve complex challenges and convert them into structured actionable solutions
  • You are hands-on, have strong project management skills in which you take full ownership and control over your projects, and have the ability to manage priorities to get projects done in time
  • You are able to translate technical complexity back to customer impact and pick the needs of different customers
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are able to form a vision and work with the engineering teams to implement that
  • You have experience in launching and scaling transactional banking products and have in-depth experience with at least one major market infrastructure. 
  • You have solid communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures
  • You have a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation will add value to a fast-growing business
