Adyen is looking for an experienced, strategic Head of GTM Operations with a proven track record in Revenue Operations. This role will be based in either our San Francisco or Amsterdam office and report directly to the VP of Revenue Operations.
As the Head of GTM Operations, you will be responsible for scaling our GTM execution and operations. In this role you will focus on defining and optimizing the ways of working with the Commercial (Marketing, SDR, Sales, Partnerships, Account Managers) and Customer Operations (e.g. Support, Merchant Operations and Professional Services) teams. Your focus will be on ensuring our commercial process from lead generation to customer satisfaction is user-centric and best in class, realizing adoption and driving teams to reach our commercial goals.
We are looking for a leader who can strike a balance and find the intersection between the business needs and user needs. You will be managing global teams, and partnering closely with the Revenue Technology and the Revenue Analytics teams to translate insights into actions.
What You'll Do
- Define what the best user-centric end-to-end commercial process will look like and drive best practices into global standards
- Identify the commercial process roadblocks, and co-define solutions with teams involved
- Lead a functional Operation Specialists team responsible for establishing best practices on ways of working within and between functions, and scaling them across the globe
- Lead a group of regional ROO Leads who will be trusted business partners for regional leadership and be responsible for bridging the gap between global and regional nuances, executing locally and connecting teams
- Define the ways of working of the ROO regional leads with the functional OS teams, ensuring collaboration and swift decision-making
- Translate insights into growth opportunities across GTM teams:
- Quantitative insights derived from the Commercial Performance Analytics team
- Qualitative insights derived from the business
- Provide the Revenue Analytics and Revenue Technology teams with relevant input for their deliverables
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across Adyen to align on revenue growth opportunities
Who You Are
- 10+ years experience in a similar fast-paced environment and role (Head of Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, GTM Operations)
- Proven track record of optimizing and implementing global commercial processes
- Ability to identify and prioritize business requirements and manage stakeholder expectations accordingly
- Experience managing a global team and managing managers, preferably in a matrix organization
- Strong storytelling skills where you effectively communicate value
- Strong experience in change management and realizing process adoption
- Understanding of how process, technology and data team can enable the business and unlock growth
Location & Work Expectations
- This role is based in San Francisco or Amsterdam.
- Adyen values in-person collaboration, and we are an office-first company.
- Some international travel may be required.
Compensation
- The base salary range in San Francisco for this role is $235,000-$310,000 plus RSUs.
