Adyen is looking for an experienced market-oriented, proactive and commercially minded global Product Marketing Team Lead. You will be part of a dynamic Product Marketing team that doesn’t limit itself to marketing products. The Adyen Product Marketing team’s primary role is to empower the regional commercial & marketing teams to execute revenue growth initiatives in line with the commercial strategy. As one of the leaders in this team, you will be in charge of defining and executing the marketing strategy for one of Adyen’s key business lines, focusing on SaaS platforms and marketplaces.

You will be responsible for driving the creation and enablement of comprehensive go-to-markets playbooks and campaigns that effectively promote our solutions, drive demand, build thought leadership, and ultimately contribute to revenue growth. You and your team will also directly execute some campaigns that contribute to our business objectives.

As a people manager, you will be building, coaching and growing a multidisciplinary team (currently 3 people). This team is composed of Product Marketing Managers and Marketing Program Managers working together to support our key markets around the world. As an experienced people leader, you set the bar high for yourself and you motivate others to deliver results, in an agile manner. You always look to achieve the highest impact in the most efficient manner. You know the difference between good and great and can explain it to others.

This is a global role, where you will report to the VP of Product Marketing, working closely with senior commercial and product leadership. You will gain a seat at the table and be expected to devise a marketing strategy and plan to deliver on business objectives. This role requires being able to drive strategic, high impact programs with multiple senior stakeholders. You are able to run several programs simultaneously and to balance the strategic and the tactical. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, global and local, to ensure our programs contribute to business objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategic mindset: act as a partner to the commercial and product leadership, translating business objectives into actionable and impactful marketing plans
  • Team management: coach and grow a multi-disciplinary team, driving a culture of impact and customer-centricity.
  • Scrum Master: our teams work in Sprints, and you’ll be expected to drive the adoption of scalable and efficient ways of working
  • Go-to-Market: Drive the creation, packaging and enablement of go-to-market playbooks for different target markets, in line with the commercial strategy
  • Campaigns in a box: Equip the regional marketing teams with ready-to-localize campaigns toolkits they can execute on
  • Sales Enablement: Equip the commercial team with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively sell our solutions, including training and sales support.
  • Build rich relationships with key stakeholders within the Marketing, Commercial, Product and GTM organizations

Who you are:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in a strategic B2B sales & marketing role, an entrepreneurial attitude and a growth mindset.

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in product marketing, demand generation, commercial or related roles within the B2B technology industry.
  • Track record of driving high impact, strategic marketing programs that deliver concrete business results
  • Experience in leading, coaching and growing teams is a must
  • A sound understanding of payments, fintech, embedded finance in SaaS and/or banking
  • Growth mindset, with the entrepreneurial skills required to scale our business
  • Ability to conduct discussions and negotiations with Senior Leadership
  • Master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement
  • Comfortable working across time zones and multiple cultures
