We are seeking a creative, scrappy, data-driven and results-driven Events Marketing Manager to drive impactful acquisition strategies for our Unified Commerce business within the North America market. This hybrid role will work from our San Francisco or New York office and report directly to our Unified Commerce Marketing Team Lead.
As an Events Marketing Manager at Adyen, you are pipeline-driven, highly-collaborative, and always learning. You will own the execution for industry and owned events, including planning, building and optimizing events programs across field marketing and complementary marketing tactics. You’ll work closely with our Sales, SDR and Marketing teams to develop and implement event programs that acquire new customers and generate results through the funnel from leads to opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a 360° marketer experienced in meeting revenue-based goals through integrated event programs. The ideal candidate is also experienced at stakeholder management and collaborating across Sales, SDRs, Partnerships, and Account Management to meet revenue-based goals through integrated marketing tactics.
What you’ll do:
- Drive collaboration across our commercial organization with our wider regional and global acquisition marketing counterparts to integrate events into effective customer acquisition programs.
- Own your events end to end: plan, execute and report on our largest industry conferences. Strategically scale our presence to build powerful event concepts that meet the event objectives.
- Plan and manage effective integrated marketing programs including invitation and follow-up tactics in alignment with marketing goals. This includes target list preparation, incorporation of ABM tactics, coordination with commercial teams, creative asset development, and leveraging marketing automation and CRM functionalities.
- Plan, brief and implement event assets in alignment with marketing goals and the event objectives. Ensure all stakeholders are regularly updated and well-prepared.
- Regularly evaluate event effectiveness based on revenue impact, cost effectiveness and attendee satisfaction, share learnings and optimize future activities based on the learnings.
Who you are:
- 4+ years of experience in an event marketing role. B2B SaaS marketing experience is a requirement.
- Strong background in event marketing with an integrated approach. Experience across a wide range of event formats is a requirement.
- Proven experience delivering creative and successful events that meet set objectives.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving for results through ambiguity with a high level of collaboration to drive the best outcomes for our customers.
- Balance between strategic & hands-on: From developing a strategy to execution and optimization. You’re willing to try new things – you fail fast and you learn fast.
- You are a self-starting and self-motivated contributor with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25%+
The annual base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $150,000; to learn more about our compensation philosophy, please click here.
This role is based out of our San Francisco or New York office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
