In order to keep our business compliant with the regulations and our risk appetite, as a financial institution, Adyen needs to know their customers. The financial world is highly regulated, therefore the KYC/CDD team is fundamental to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Within the Merchant Operations department, we are looking for someone that can help us perform quality assurance reviews and monitor the CDD processes, contributing to being ‘in control’ and making sure that we develop the right measures to continuously improve the quality of our operations. We are looking for a person that is able to make sure that all our Compliance regulations and procedures are well applied in the operational teams. 

We are looking for a proactive person with an understanding of Compliance and KYC that is willing to help us build a quality assurance framework for Adyen’s KYC/CDD processes. We are looking for someone that can take full ownership of internal quality control processes by reviewing the assessments made by the CDD analysts, compiling data insights and providing recommendations to further develop solutions to make sure that our CDD process meets the right quality standards in line with our Compliance and Audit teams.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, implement, and refine quality assurance strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of CDD and KYC processes
  • Guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, conducting regular sampling to spot and mitigate compliance risks
  • Drive initiatives for continuous process improvement, leveraging data-driven insights and feedback to enhance workflows and minimize errors in the current CDD and KYC procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to ensure seamless integration of QA procedures and promote a culture of compliance across the organization
  • Create audit reports containing QA results
  • Give training to CDD analysts to improve their quality

Who you are 

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance
  • Previous experience in KYC/CDD analyst position is considered a plus
  • You are operationally & data oriented with a critical and analytical mindset
  • Motivated and well-equipped  to initiate and guide the development of a QA process
  • You pick up new information easily, take initiative and have a great sense of responsibility
  • You are exceptionally good at spotting slight nuances that others may have missed and are proficient in effectively sharing your insights and knowledge with others
  • You're a strong communicator and have interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
