Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assists with analysis of user operations and/or problems and develops system requirements consistent with business needs.

· Analyzes and assesses existing business systems and procedures.

· Works with stakeholders to plan requirements and specifications of conversion and acceptance of new/modified solutions.

· Formulates a plan, outlining steps required to develop a program, using structured analysis and design. Submits plans for approval.

· Translates system requirements into a logical, economical, and technically practical system design.

· Assists with preliminary system design documents and detailed design specifications including layouts, required procedures, and report designs.

· Designs, deploys, tests, and monitors new business process solutions. Troubleshoots and debugs system errors.

· Uses clear communication to work effectively with team members and customers across multiple disciplines.

· Assists users in solving operating problems.

· Administers critical analysis of test results and delivers solutions to problem areas.

· Develops and maintains user manuals and guidelines.

· Designs, runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs to correct errors, isolate areas for improvement, and general debugging.

· Acts as project manager on small or intermediate system projects, and assumes responsibility for the development, accuracy, and completeness of the project.

· Keeps up to date with industry trends and standards, as well as new emerging technologies.

· Ability to interface and provide initial orientation of technical concepts to business audiences.

· Trains end users to operate new or modified programs.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:

Essential KSAs:

· Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related experience.

· Proficient with low-code platforms.

· Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

· Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.

· Familiar with Scrum/Agile methodologies.

· Technologies: PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams.

· Strong organizational skills.

Desirable KSAs:

· Strong customer satisfaction skills and demonstrate a high level of professionalism. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to use a telephone with headset for verbal troubleshooting, frequent use of a standard keyboard and computer to document calls in a ticketing system, and occasional use of other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods and use close and color vision. Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy business office.
