In this role, the Vice President/ GM, Core Market for HRO (Human Resources Outsourcing) Comprehensive Services, you will direct all activities of the Core Market ("Alex" (clients) with less than 150 associates) within Comprehensive Services to meet profitability and growth objectives established for the business.

The VP/GM has end to end client ownership in the Core Market and sets the strategy and collaborates with a broad array of field and functional stakeholders to meet all Financial and Service objectives - driving Revenue, New Business Starts, Client Retention, Client NPS and Net Operating Income. Responsible for all activities relating to the creation and accomplishment of market financial plans and objectives, operating plan initiatives, client experience, associate engagement, associate retention, and talent development.

As the VP/GM, your span of control will consist of ~5 directs and ~800 indirects on and offshore. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a strategy that supports Comprehensive Services vision to be the premier provider of HCM solutions to the Core Market. Drives growth and solutions, via highly engaged associates, and personalized/ strong client relationships
  • Collaborates effectively with key functional and field organizations; Sales, Global Product and Technology, HR, Finance and Shares Services
  • Leads the business to meet all financial goals. These goals include; driving Revenue, New Business Starts, Client Retention, Client NPS and Net Operating Income. Continually analyzing operating results of its functional groups - Service, Implementation, and Client Success to identify new areas of opportunity for growth, improved client satisfaction and operating productivity
  • Develops and articulates the strategic objectives of Comprehensive Services in a clear and compelling manner to all leaders and associates. Keeps the organization's vision and strategic plan at the forefront of decision making. Develops and communicates clearly defined service goals, objectives and results to the organization
  • Develops leaders within the organization by providing developmental assignments, coaching, timely feedback and guidance. Rewards results and behaviors that support the mission, vision and values of ADP. Develops successors. Drives the ADP Employment Value Proposition throughout organization and develops a highly engaged workforce.
  • Maintains key client and partner relationships. Develops a deep understanding of the perspective of the client, and our associates and takes actions to integrate their needs with the products and strategic direction of ADP. Balances client expectations with associate engagement and financial performance
  • Supports ADP and Comprehensive Services in its Business Transformation initiatives
  • Serves as a key member of the Comprehensive Services Leadership team and partners with other ADP leadership teams as needed especially across HRO Organization- sharing best practices and providing support. Assumes other special projects/assignments as directed by the SVP (Senior Vice President).

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • This position is not a remote role. We operate on a Flexible Working Model of 3 days in the office (minimum) and 2 days at home.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider years of extensive work experience along with some education
  • 15+ years domain expertise in key human capital arena, human capital software, consulting or in a human capital business operations function, including 7 to10+ years of management experience.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with ability to effectively direct/lead the business unit's overall service operations in order to maximize revenues and profits. In-depth knowledge of financial practices. Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, leadership and organization skills.
