FUNCTION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the GM, Shared Services, the VP, Business Enablement is a key player in leading ADP's Business Transformation, with accountability for setting and delivering on the Product Enablement strategy within ADP Canada. You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to implement industry best practices and execute key organizational objectives. This position is best suited for candidates who embrace the challenges associated with driving cross departmental delivery excellence at a rapidly growing HCM software solutions provider. Embedded in this accountability is the responsibility for improving field organizational readiness to ensure product releases can be "mass installed" and "mass supported" while achieving Service and Implementation quality targets which will require the successful incumbent to develop, deploy and maintain a framework for a Program Management utility to support functional business models and tools. This critical leadership role will be responsible for leading the following teams: Product Enablement, Tools and Technology, RPA, Digital Enablement and Project Management Office.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the successful delivery of all activities relating to the product release cycle, including pilot, implementation planning and the roll out of products/projects to the field by delivering a highly effective Program Management Office responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the activities of complex business projects spanning multiple organizations. Monitors all program managed initiatives to ensure processes are being followed and goals achieved, including completing milestones on time and within budget. Provides the organization with the right tools to ensure project management success.
  • Ensures that stakeholder feedback in Product Roadmaps is captured and measured on an ongoing basis. Analyze launched product revenue measures against original business case targets. Ensure product deliveries are effectively communicated and enabled across all functional teams. Ensure operational excellence in team velocity, roadmaps and delivery. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive the supporting functions of Product.
  • Partners with key stakeholders including, Segment GMs, Sales, Product and Technology to provide input to the strategy and roadmap on general availability of products and services.
  • Orchestrate the efforts of cross functional teams to execute on strategic system launches to ensure all stakeholders are updated. Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams, provide timely status reports; introduce mitigation tactics to minimize project delivery risks.
  • Communicate timelines and approval framework for cross team understanding, facilitate team discussions and resolve conflict. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously based on emerging needs of the Product organization and the teams we partner with most, collecting input from key stakeholders and ensuring alignment across development teams on goals, plans, and deliverables.
  • Digital Enablement - Leading client and associate shift to digital platforms by enabling digital contact channels and emerging technologies. Enable digital adoption tools which empower clients to self-serve
  • Provide leadership to the tools and technology teams who develop and deliver internal tools to support ADP internal teams including service, implementation, finance, money movement and sales. This includes driving utilization of Robotic Process Automation within business process to increase quality and efficiency.
  • Positions the entire "client engagement model and workflow", establishing the foundation for a comprehensive service offering(s), integrating sales, implementation, service, training and operations and resulting in a comprehensive "One ADP" solution.
  • Leads the tracking, monitoring and communication of product release related issues, including problem log prioritization, deviations in release scope, change management.
  • Provides leadership and direction to a diverse team of program managers/leaders.
  • Establishes clearly defined measurable department and individual goals and objectives and communicates these to associates through department meetings and performance planning.
  • Collaborates across the organization to ensure strong coordination and alignment of product roadmap to ensure organizational readiness.
  • Primary liaison between Global Product Technology and Business Units.
  • Prepares and presents oral and/or written presentations of project status during the product life cycle.
  • Promotes the PMO and disciplined models across ADP Canada and provides training for associates as deemed necessary. Ensures the framework (and related tools and processes) are maintained on a current basis.
  • Assesses all Program Management projects and assigns appropriate resources. The program managed projects / initiatives typically generate incremental revenues and support key strategic business growth objectives.
  • Communicates strategic importance of a project(s) internally and externally to gain support (funding and buy-in) to ensure success of initiatives and investments.
  • Leverages relationships and collaborates on a regular basis with all functional areas to identify PMO needs, develop and manage financial budgets for investments and performance metrics. Prepares business cases with ROI justification for investments.
  • Build and lead a diverse team of associates all collaborating and working together, setting and managing objectives to execute on strategies to deliver business results.
  • Develops leaders within the organization by providing developmental assignments, coaching, timely feedback, and guidance. Rewards results and behaviours that support the mission, vision, and values of ADP. Develops success and drives ADP Employee Value Proposition throughout the organization.

EDUCATON

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in education and experience. MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • 15+ years of relevant product/technology experience including strategic planning, budgeting, operations, and analytics. Analytical approach toward product delivery with the ability to create reports, analyze data, and make decisions based on insights.
  • Hands-on experience identifying opportunities, researching & analyzing emerging issues and developing strategic responses. Clear and concise communicator across any channel, whether delivering company-wide news and updates in email or presenting to executive leadership or company stakeholders.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a passion for creating order out of chaos. Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to see the big picture and outline key outcomes.
  • Superb people and management skills and ability to interact with peers, senior executives, cross-functional stakeholders, and external third parties. Ability to connect work streams that would otherwise remain siloed, easily identifying opportunities to scale, remove redundancy, and partner toward shared goals.
  • Demonstrates sound leadership/business judgment and employs an ability to collaborate and partner successfully with all levels of professionals, backgrounds and perspectives to assist in the delivery of innovative solutions and respond to business priorities.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing high value end to end large business transformation programs from conception through implementation across a variety of stakeholders and functions.
  • Experience in leading diverse teams.

  • Reasonable proficiency with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
