In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive test automation strategies to ensure the quality and efficiency of our payroll system particularly focusing on SAP Payroll processes. This role requires a visionary leader who can leverage AI-driven, codeless automation to accelerate SAP innovation while maintaining uncompromised quality and operational efficiency.

Every day, you will promote architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency aligned with business strategy. Each day, you will start with a script creation and identify priorities within the current scope or discuss a new process. If something is particularly critical, you may have to roll up your sleeves and assist.

To thrive in this role, you have five-plus years of experience in Tricentis Tosca Testing, including designing and implementing complex test automation frameworks in SAP environments. In-depth understanding of US SAP Payroll processes and how to effectively test these using automation. Proven experience in greenfield SAP implementations, with the ability to manage large-scale test automation projects. Demonstrated ability to develop many test automation assets in highly automated environments, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficiency. Ability to prioritize and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Test Automation Design: Define and implement comprehensive test automation scripts aligned with business goals and objectives, ensuring coverage across all key SAP Payroll processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs. Translate these into effective test automation strategies.
  • Test Development: Develop and maintain test scripts, scenarios, and cases for various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Ensure the scripts are optimized for reusability and scalability.
  • Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the test automation processes. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using Tricentis Tosca and related tools. Ensure continuous integration and delivery practices are adhered to, minimizing risk and enhancing deployment efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and technical specifications. Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize processes.
  • Maintenance of Test Assets: Evaluate and maintain existing manual and automated test cases/scripts. Ensure they are updated in line with changes in business processes and technical landscapes.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
  • Prior experience that would give you extra comfort in the role includes:
    • Proficiency in GUI Test Automation Framework development using Tricenstis Tosca, Test Data Services
    • SAP Automation Testing experience in various SAP UI like ECC, S4H, SuccessFactors, ARIBA and non-SAP Applications.
    • Certification in Tricentis Tosca, and experience in Live Compare is beneficial.
    • Experience with SAP integration technologies, interfaces, and data migration processes
    • Experience with Siebel, CRM, ServiceNow.
