ADP is hiring a Senior Underwriter, Workers Compensation. In this position you will evaluate sales prospects on RFPs from a Risk standpoint. This "gate keeper" role ensures all requirements are met before granting final approval. Minimizes losses while maximizing revenues using all available resources to support decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approves or disapproves prospects through evaluation and analysis following established underwriting guidelines and the eRFP process.
  • Develops positive relationships with District Managers, and sales management and assists them in achieving their sales goals while balancing the corporate risk tolerance.
  • Provides guidance and training on the underwriting process to sales associates and leaders.
  • Assists other underwriters through collaboration, mentoring and development.
  • Conducts training and acts as subject matter expert.
  • Assists existing clients with insurance related issues. (OSIPS, COIs, FEIN, etc.)
  • Performs risk evaluations on the most complex and/or largest prospects.
  • Typing 30% of time
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 3 - 5 Years of Directly Related Experience
  • Underwriting experience with WC concentration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience
  • Entry level position in Underwriting
  • Decision Making, analysis and judgment Experience

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $57,100.00 - $116,100.00 / Year
