In this role as Sr Director Strategic Planning/Partnership - Compliance Solutions, you will be part of ADP's Compliance Solutions business unit supporting the growth of our products via channel partners. This leader is responsible for delivering growth for Compliance Solutions by defining and executing a partner growth strategy focused on driving measurable growth for the business.

In this role, you will build relationships with internal partners including ADP Strategy, Alliances and the Compliance Solutions leaders. You will align and collaborate across theses teams to develop and drive the partner strategy. You will also build relationships with our channel partners and define our strategy with each partner to continually identify opportunities to maximize growth. You will pitch the value proposition of our products and the benefits of integration and guide the partners through the onboarding process.

You will own the partner acquisition and growth lifecycle including identification, development, negotiation, contract execution and growth. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about strategic business development, revenue growth and leveraging our technology solutions to deliver value to ADP, our partners and their clients. The successful candidate will be creative in sourcing and evaluating opportunities, strategic in their prioritization and laser focused on driving measurable growth for the business.

The Sr. Directoris responsible for delivering growth by engaging decision makers within our channel partners to review ADP Compliance Solutions value proposition and guide them through the complex business/technical decision-making process. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of, and be immersed in, the HCM Technology landscape to understand potential partnership opportunities for Compliance Solutions
  • Source relevant partner opportunities by leveraging your professional network, partnering with our internal Alliances and Strategy teams, attending relevant conferences, networking events, and proactively engaging with partners to identify high-potential channel partners that are the best strategic fit for the Compliance Solutions strategy and growth
  • Develop a prioritized pipeline of partner opportunities to grow the Compliance Solutions business by researching and evaluating each opportunity
  • Evaluate and assess the strategic and economic impact of potential opportunities with prospective partners and build and deliver business cases and gain agreement from the Governing Board to pursue partnerships
  • Define and continually enhance the Compliance Solutions channel partner strategy focused on driving growth and value to our partners
  • Develop and present to new and existing partners a compelling value propositions tailored to each partner's specific needs, while educating them on ADP's Compliance Solutions products and the benefits of integration with our products through presentations and demos
  • Navigate complex decision-making processes within our channel partners, building strong relationships with key C-Suite executives.
  • Deeply understand Compliance Solutions integrations and challenges faced by partners, demonstrating technical acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Identify and develop metrics to measure and assess success of the Compliance Solutions Partner Growth strategy, continually identify opportunities to improve, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and executive management via the Governing Board
  • Develop and deliver metrics and reports that show progress against business targets and KPIs, such as new channel partner acquisition, current channel partner growth, etc.
  • Partner with our Alliances team on deal execution from: identifying opportunities and developing partner relationship, business case development and contract negotiation

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in business development and strategic partnerships in a highly competitive industry
  • Experience in Strategic Partnerships, Corporate Development and/or Alliance Development is a plus
  • Strong content creation and business storytelling / presentation skills (PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience in identifying and developing relationships with key decision makers
  • Ability to translate technical complexities into business value for partners
  • Strategic thinking ability to identify long-term growth opportunities and build trusted partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex partner challenges and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Must be independently driven; very strategic and can think creatively in partnership models for Compliance Solutions. Ideally someone who has experience developing partnerships, acquiring businesses and able to grow partnerships to help drive the business forward.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage within a matrixed environment
  • Collaborative team player who can adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizations and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes
  • Display a comprehensive understanding of a partner economic model
  • Demonstrated skills in content development, workshop development and facilitation, program/project management, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and launch and manage programs with minimal supervision
  • Sales and Marketing background a plus
  • Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Highly connected to development efforts, pilots/feedback, and deployment of new/enhanced toolsets

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $122,400.00 - $328,140.00 / Year
